Summer 2019 Events

This summer is jam-packed with events and activities for all ages. Kids and parents will enjoy our Summer Reading festivities, Harry Potter fans will have a special concert to attend, and science lovers can stop by and see our NASA@ My Library talk and lecture series throughout July.

Summer Reading Kids Events

All main stage events will be held at the Heart of Anacortes on the corner of 4th and O Ave.
In case of rain, events will move to the Depot Arts Center at 611 R Ave.

Join us for a dazzling magic show with Elliott Hunter! Born and raised in Anacortes, Elliott is now a professional magician known for using a combination of magic, music, comedy, dance, and storytelling to create long lasting memories for his audiences.

Idea Hatch: Hands On Science

Monday, July 22 at 1 PM

Educator Heidi Larson brings us her Hands On Science program all about space. Test real meteorites, and peer into an infinity star box! Create a planet, and watch it orbit!
