The Patrol Division of the Anacortes Police Department is under the command of Captain Chris Fuller and consists of eighteen Patrol Officers when the department is fully staffed. Patrol Officers are the first responders to calls for service. The Patrol Division is also responsible for traffic enforcement, follow-up investigations, tactical responses, and prisoner transports. Patrol Officers work one of three different shifts, each headed by a Patrol Sergeant.
