There are a few easy online ways to discover if the Anacortes Museum has information on your research subject:

1) Search our Photo & Artifact Database for a keyword or phrase (be sure to put a phrase inside quotation marks). 

2) Search our Research Files, by using “find” to search the best keyword in our online index

3) Search our Oral History Index, which summarizes the recorded interviews, and may include mention of your subject

4) Search old Anacortes newspapers from 1890-1922

5) Search Anacortes High School yearbooks

Research Library at the Anacortes Museum

The Research Library has approximately six hundred books, magazines, and journals and also includes newspapers, brochures, clippings and other published and non-published sources of information on the cultural and natural history of Fidalgo and Guemes Islands. Staff is available to assist with research requests. Fees may apply depending upon the amount of staff time required.
