Anacortes Police Department and Municipal Court Closed to the Public 

 

March 20, 2020


Anacortes, WA – Effective Friday March 20, 2020, the lobby of the Anacortes Police Department will be closed to the public. This will minimize the health risk of the COVID-19 virus to the public and to staff of the Anacortes Police Department.


If there is an emergency, 911 is always available. You can contact an officer by dialing 360-428-3211 for non-emergencies, or by dialing 360-293-4684 for the main Anacortes Police Department business line. This business line is staffed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Due to the declaration of a public health emergency by the United States federal government, the Washington State Government, Skagit County, and the City of Anacortes, regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Anacortes Municipal Court will be closed to the public until further notice.


Court Clerk and Judicial operations will continue and the public can contact court staff via phone at 360-293-1913, or via email at municipalcourt@cityofanacortes.org. Payments can be mailed to the following address: Anacortes Municipal Court, 1218 24th Street, Anacortes, WA 98221. Online payments can be made at www.anacortestix.com, and payments over the phone can be made by calling 1(877)793-8935.
